Santurce
+ My Favorites
The center of commercial and cultural life in modern San Juan, Santurce is home to museums, restaurants, nightclubs and many venues for the performing arts, from ballet to opera.
Address: Ponce de León Avenue | San Juan
Old San Juan
+ My Favorites
The original settlement in the center of the city, Old San Juan was founded in 1521. Hundreds of historic buildings have been restored, as have the Old City Walls, built in 1633 to protect the settlement from invaders. Old San Juan is a great spot for shopping, dining and all manner of entertainment.
Address: Road 25 | San Juan
Isla Verde
+ My Favorites
Isla Verde, immediately north of the San Juan airport, is the ideal spot to discover the relaxed atmosphere that has evolved from centuries of mixing Spanish and indigenous cultures, and makes an excellent base for exploring the capital. The beach here is one of the most popular in the city.
Address: 14 Calle 1 East | Isla Verde, San Juan
Condado
+ My Favorites
The old district of Condado, along the coast of the city of San Juan, maintains beautiful parks and historic architecture, casinos and superb dining, but the biggest draws in the area are the tropical beaches.
Address: 999 Ashford | Condado, San Juan
Hato Rey District
+ My Favorites
The Hato Rey District, in the center of Metropolitan San Juan, is the city's central business district, much less flashy and not filled with vendors and artists selling their wares. Instead, the streets of Hato Rey are filled with an intriguing mix of traditional and modern architectural styles.
